For Developers in the District
The canal was founded and water delivered to most of the Buckeye Valley prior to Arizona becoming a state. Given the longevity of the canal, laterals and drainage system the District has prior rights over any other utility. We recommend that prior to any development in the District that you make contact with us to ensure proper integration of the irrigation plans. Proper planning will prevent costly delays during your project.
