INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Buckeye Water Conservation and Drainage District Website
Buckeye Water Conservation and Drainage District (BWCDD) was established in 1922 by the farmers of the Buckeye Valley and Buckeye Irrigation Company for the purpose of repairing and maintaining the Buckeye Canal, managing high water levels of the aquifer to allow for adequate leeching of alkali in the soil, and delivering nearly 130,000 AC-FT of irrigation annually to over 17,000 acres.
BWCDD is also an Electrical District serving power to its irrigation customers within the District boundaries.
